New Galilee was my hometown. My grandmother Vera Gray Cook, my aunts and uncles. Too many to name, but most were in the 1908 and the 1930’s photos. What memories these have brought back. I am related to the Pattersons, Grays, Fosters and Cooks and probably a few more people of New Galilee and the Enon Valley area. Thank you so much for sharing this amazing Memoirs for all to see. God Bless. If I can be of any help, please do not hesitate to email me.
First off ,Thank you for creating this site! I just found it a few days ago and can’t seem to get enough of it. In the Photo of miss Allens 1st grade class of 1965, third from the left in the back row is Robin Guthrie, and 5th but not named is her twin brother Steve Guthrie. I’m sure of this because I’m the one between them. lol. Mrs. Gishbaugher in the 1945 photo was still teaching When I went to 2nd grade but retired after the 1966 school year. She was the sweetest teacher I ever had !
