Cleland Rock, a part of McConnell’s Mill State Park, is a rocky outcrop that offers a spectacular view of the Slippery Rock Creek as it runs through the valley far below. It is located in the secluded area on the east bank of the Slippery Rock Creek and accessible via Breakneck Bridge Road in Perry Township. It’s likely named after the Cleeland (Cleland) family that resided in the area long ago. (Apr 2017) Full Size |
