The church experienced much growth in the first half of the new century and in 1940 a portion of the congregation broke away and founded the Enon Valley Bible Presbyterian Church. In 1953 a basement with a kitchen and Sunday school classes was added, which was subsequently used for services while the sanctuary was completed remodeled. On June 19, 1954, a rededication ceremony was held to celebrate the reopening of the improved sanctuary. In June 1973 the church, previously renamed as the Enon United Presbyterian Church, proudly marked its 100th anniversary with a special ceremony. The church is still in active service today. Would you have a phone number for this church? My G.G. Grandfather William Taylor was a Preacher, but I am not sure what church he had his services at. Looking forward to hearing from you.
