The school was tentatively sold for $100,000 in April 2012 to a group planning to convert the building into a YMCA. Those plans fell through and the building was sold for $80,000 to local man Anthony “Tony” Joseph in early December 2012. Joseph had plans to covert the building into some sort of commercial fitness space, while preserving the softball field. a full-service gym, known as “It’s Time Fitness,” opened in the spring of 2015.
