 Parkside Cemetery and Mausoleum, owned and operated by funeral director Don DeCarbo, was opened for initial burials in late 1996. I believe the cemetery as a whole, including the large mausoleum, was officially opened in January 1997. Don DeCarbo is the owner of the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Homes, founded by the late Edward A. DeCarbo Sr. in 1961. The non-denominational cemetery is located along Old Pittsburgh Road and adjoins the Catholic burial ground of St. Vitus Cemetery. (May 2014) Full Size |
